Boomerang Bags Sewing Bees Return! 

As part of Indie Arts Montclair's upcoming Skillshares, Boomerang Bags Montclair will have Sewing Bees on 2 dates- Thursday, October 3rd and Friday, October 4th from 11am to 3pm each day! Drop in any time for as long as you like. We'll be heading back to the 2nd floor at the Cornerstone Montclair building located at 198 Bellevue Ave. There is elevator access to the 2nd floor if needed. This event is free to attend!

Join the Montclair History Center & Montclair Community Farms as we celebrate the end of the harvest season at Fall Fest! Enjoy a fun-filled day for all ages full of delicious food and fall activities all around our beautiful gardens and farm. Taste food and drinks from local vendors, shop naturally sourced products from local artisans and creators, meet farm animals, and jam out with live music from Montclair’s own School of Rock! Bring the whole family and a picnic blanket to join friends and neighbors from across the community in supporting our second annual Fall Fest Fundraiser. Rain date Sunday, September 29th from 11 am to 4 pm.

The 15th season of the Nutley Farmers Market runs every Sunday 9am-2pm from June 16th through October 27th. Parking is available in Lot 7 and Lot 9 (enter behind Bella Luce) as well as on the street. Biking and walking to the Market are always encouraged.

The Market is located in Municipal Lot 7 on 507 Franklin Avenue in Nutley (the former Ciccolini parking lot).

The eighth annual ‘Green Day at the Market’, is a mini-eco fair to be featured at the Greenutley Farmers Market on Sunday, September 23, 2018. The event will take place from 9am to 2pm, and will feature eco-friendly vendors, educational exhibits and workshops.
‘Green Day at the Market’ is an event focused on environmentally friendly living and making “greener” choices, and is part of Greenutley’s continuing commitment to educate the community on how small, individual actions on the home front can greatly benefit our local and global environment.
Planned as an outdoor event and part of the Greenutley Farmers Market, ‘Green Day at the Market’ will take place in Municipal Parking Lot #9/ 537 Franklin Avenue. Vendors, workshops and exhibitors will inter-mingle with our weekly farmer market vendors. Greenutley’s Farmers Market, in its ninth year, is a weekly market that has become a regular part of our community’s Sunday morning routine.

On September 15th 2018, The MakeShift Union is hosting the 4th Annual Makers Festival at Manahawkin Lake Park in Manahawkin NJ. The mission of our festival is to highlight the underground current of Makers who are changing the landscape of production & consumerism in America, and more specifically, Ocean County where we live, work & play. It will be a day to celebrate the collective artistic endeavors of homegrown talent locally & beyond, and will feature over ten dozen Makers whose crafts include everything from handmade & vintage fashion, sculpting & woodworking, photography & fine art, craft beer, food and music.
