The Glenridge Avenue Arts & Music Festival is this Saturday, October 7th, from 11am- 6pm. It was rescheduled from May and will be a great day of local live music, artisan and food vendors, and fun for the whole family on this long holiday weekend. Montclair Made will be vending with a lot of new notebook paper fabric zip bags! There will also be select Montclair Made merchandise at special sale prices! Back to school is an exciting time for students and teachers. My products for autumn are popular gifts for students of all ages and teachers appreciate them more than an old fashioned apple!  Lunch bags are a new school year staple and I've perfected my design, based on a paper lunch bag. Grosgrain ribbon handles make them easy to carry while velcro keeps everything inside. Kids love the paper airplane design pencil case. Is the English teacher or writing major on Team Oxford Comma? This is the 4th year Montclair has participated in Make Music Day, a global celebration of free music that happens annually on June 21st, the summer solstice. Make Music Day is open to anyone who wants to participate no matter what their skill level. Venues all around Montclair will host performances at different times all day and into the evening. The day will kickoff with a Ukulele Parade and Mass Appeal, when people come together and learn the chosen song, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", on ukulele and play in unison, attracting on-lookers and encouraging people to join the short walk,...

The first Night Market on Glenridge Ave. was a festive and fun-filled event! I vended alongside familiar friends and networked with other local business people and artists, finding inspiration in our conversations, and renewed energy for on-going projects. I'm busy remaking my labels, hang tags, invoices, and business cards with my new shop banner logo!
