Indie Arts Montclair Skill Shares took place last weekend and they were a resounding success! Attendees chose from free events that included Collage as Creative Expression, Intro to Qigong, Intro to Dungeons and Dragons, and Intro to Zines, Zine Making, and Zine Fests, and Sewing Hand Paws! I attended the ribbon cutting and enjoyed meeting and chatting with BID members and the owners, Darya and Jacob. Jacob's statement during the ribbon cutting gave me goose bumps! In case you missed it, I made my first appearance of the year at the Nutley Farmers Market on July 28th! The weather was gorgeous and the turnout was great. It was my first time vending in the upper parking lot location and it was a pleasure to set up and spend the day there.
