In case you missed it, I popped up outside of the Keep Creating Art Wellness Center at Lackawanna Station last Saturday! I was invited by the owner, Nanci, as a way to cross-promote and share our common mission of sustainable creativity.  Like in the past, I had to make hard decisions about what to bring and what to leave behind. I thought I had brought enough to fill just one table, but quickly realized I needed a second table to display all the arts/crafts/school/office supplies I had brought! This Saturday, 7/12, from 11am to 4pm, I'll be popping up with the Montclair Creative Reuse Project just outside the Keep Creating Art Wellness Center located inside Lackawanna Plaza! I'll be bringing a great assortment of art/craft/school supplies and everything will be "Pay What You Can" prices, as always! I can accept donations here too, so if you've been hanging onto your donation, this is a great time to drop it off with me! This Saturday will also be "Freestyle Studio" at Keep Creating where you can drop in and make art using their supplies from 11:30am to 2:30pm for $10!...

My next scheduled event is the Clothesline Art Festival in September and I'm spending the summer building inventory! I spent most of June working on a new batch of my Rag Rugs handwoven on my Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom! Today I finished a batch of Rochester-themed Ransom Notes Zipper Pouches! First I carefully selected letters that have been cut from t-shirts and spelled out Rochester and its abbreviation, ROC. Then I embroidered the letters onto the zipper pouch fronts that I machine stitched to resemble notebook paper. Then I sewed the bags! Two of the credit card cases are lined...

I added the Montclair Flea - Makers Only Market to my event schedule! I recovered quickly from Flower Power Flea Market and I’m looking forward to highlighting just my handmade products all weekend. Look for me at Lackawanna Plaza Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm each day!
